Pagi ini dalam patik menikmati segelas milo ais dan satu set telor tiga suku masak, sempat patik melayari dada-dada akhbar online dan media sosial. Ceritanya masih sama…berkenaan seseorang yang bernama Md.B. Pendek saja namanya, tapi amat menggegarkan dunia.
Yang amat menarik perhatian patik ialah bagaimana begitu banyak nama-nama besar lain di dalam negara ini yang terkait dgn Md.B ini.
Salah satu nama besar itu ialah juga seorang yang berasal dari keturunan orang Johor sehinggakan patik terus teringat ungkapan Sasterawan Negara Usman Awang tentang salah satu sifat-sifat orang Johor. Kata beliau “Lembutnya cukup jantan”…
Nama besar yang patik maksudkan ini bukan seorang jantan…tetapi seorang ibu, isteri dan seorang yang telah di amanahkan untuk memegang kunci perbendaharaan negara dan mohor tangannya berada di atas setiap wang kertas di dalam saku kita.
Selayaknyalah seorang wanita menjaga perbendaharaan negara. Sebagaimana ibu-ibu kita menjaga budget rumah tangganya. Beliau yang patik maksudkan ialah Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz; Gabenor Bank Negara. Namun diruangan ini patik tidak mahu mengaitkan beliau dengan Md.B, patik ni imej konsultan, bukan tuanpunya Sarawak Post ya.

Sejak dahulu lagi patik meminati pembawaan diri beliau, dari cara penampilan, termasuk pertuturan, bahasa tubuh semuanya kombinasi yang cukup elegan. Pada usia yang melewati 60an, beliau setia dengan baju kurung untuk setiap urusan, patik perasan beliau banyak koleksi baju pesak gantung dengan pilihan kain-kain sutera, satin dan cotton.
Apa sahaja yang terhampar disusuk tubuh beliau tampak eksklusif tanpa mengenakan aksesori yang sarat berlebihan, beliau cukup setia dengan juraian mutiara. Senyum yang sentiasa terukir di wajah beliau nampak nyaman mata memandang. Pastinya beliau mewarisi taste arwah bonda beliau iaitu Azah Aziz atau Mak Ungku pejuang tradisi Melayu.

Tidak perlu menggandingkan kebaya dengan jean’, ‘baju kurung potongan klasik mengikut negeri di Malaysia sudah cukup istimewa’ dan ‘kenapa perlu dimodenkan reka bentuk baju kurung atau diganti jenis kainnya?’, antara petikan kata-kata allahyarhamah Azah Aziz bonda kepada Tan Sri Zeti (yang membuktikan keteguhan beliau mempertahankan keaslian tradisi.)

Siapa kata pakai baju kurung tampak macam kekampungan atau outdated. Kepada wanita yang masih muda yang berumur di bawah 50an, lebih banyak pilihan dengan koleksi baju mini kurung atau kebaya yang mengikut potongan badan (tidak perlu ketat). Elakkan corak bunga yang marak dan kombinasi warna serabut (Nampak macam kebun bunga bergerak patik tengok)
Apa pun, patik mengangkat beliau sebagai idola patik. Lambang wanita korporat yang berjaya, lembut tetapi auranya cukup jantan.
