Bismillahhirahmannirahim
Sejak akhir-akhir ini kita asyik memperkatakan tentang kejatuhan nilai Ringgit Malaysia berbanding dengan US Dollar dan matawang asing ternama lain. Patik pun hampir terperanjat apabila mendapat tahu nilai Ringgit Malaysia berbanding US Dollar kini telah mencecah RM4.00 bagi setiap USD. Terendah bagi tempoh 17 tahun. Harap-harap tidaklah ia mencecah nilai terendah pernah dicatat di dalam tahun 1998 iaitu RM4.80 bagi setiap USD.
Lega patik telah habis menghadiri kursus Certified Style Coach dari London Style Coach Institute pada awal tahun lepas. Jika tidak, sia-sia kena bayar extra RM3,000 untuk yuran sahaja. Tak termasuk bayaran penginapan, makan dan shopping of course 🙂 yang pastinya akan meningkat sama.
Apa kena-mengena tajuk kita kali ini dengan kejatuhan matawang kita?
Apa yang patik ingin sampaikan kali ini ialah, tak perlulah kita asyik nak mempersoalkan secara detail dan teknikal bagaimana nilai Ringgit Malaysia boleh turun dan naik secara drastic. Patik bukan ahli ekonomi, patik hanya seorang imej konsultan, but I got a degree in Finance, yeah which I don’t practise 🙂
Di dalam senario ekonomi kita yang agak ketat ini, lebih baik kita fikirkan apa yang boleh kita lakukan di dalam ekonomi rumahtangga kita sendiri daripada termenung tentang teori-teori konspirasi yang menyebabkan ekonomi negara dan dunia terumbang ambing.
Apa yang patik ingin cadangkan kita lakukan mulai sekarang ialah, marilah kita mulakan langkah berjimat cermat di dalam perbelanjaan harian kita. InsyaAllah, apabila keadaan ekonomi dan nilai matawang kita pulih semula nanti (mengikut teori ekonomi, memang akan pulih) kita akan dapati beringgit-ringgit di dalam tabung simpanan kita, samada di dalam bank, akaun bank anak-anak, amanah saham, tabung haji, tabung buluh mahupun di bawah tilam.
Itulah maksudnya “berjimat-jimat dahulu, beringgit-ringgit kemudian”
Of course, di blog Imejpatik ini, patik tak dapatlah menggariskan satu-persatu langkah-langkah penjimatan yang kita boleh lakukan, tetapi patik akan contribute cara-cara untuk berjimat dari sudut pengurusan imej, penampilan dan pemakaian kita.
Mungkin dari situ kita akan dapat menjimatkan beberapa ringgit duit kita. Ringgit juga tu bukan?
