Alhamdulillah, sampai kita ke pertengahan bulan Shawal. Hari baik bulan baik. Sebelum terlambat, patik mohon maaf zahir dan batin dari semua.
Baru-baru ini, sewaktu patik sedang menyampaikan latihan Empowerment of Corporate Grooming kepada pegawai-pegawai dari sebuah bank di ibukota, patik dikejutkan oleh satu berita berkenaan seseorang yang telah menukar Kabinet pakaian lama beliau dengan Kabinet yang baru.
Yelah, terperanjat juga, kerana selalunya orang akan menukar baju, perabot malah kereta baru sebelum hari raya. Tapi beliau ni menukar Kabinet beliau selepas hari raya. Gempar satu Malaya..
Kalau ditanya kepada patik sebagai seorang imej konsultant, “salah ke?” Jawab patik, “tentunya tidak”. Beliau berhak menukar kabinet beliau pada bila-bila masa. Terutama sekali sekiranya beliau mahu menukar keterampilan, gaya dan stail beliau untuk tampak lebih professional, berintegriti, diyakini dan beramanah.
Sekiranya sesuatu pakaian yang ada di dalam kabinet itu tidak lagi dapat menonjolkan keterampilan yang serasi dan agak janggal untuk dikekalkan, maka bolehlah dikeluarkan dan digantikan dengan pakaian yang lebih serasi dan bersesuaian dengan masa, keadaan dan tempat. Atau dalam bahasa patik sebagai imej konsultan Time, Occasion and Place (TOP).
Pada masa-masa yang agak rumit dan juga dalam keadaan yang agak tidak keruan ini, mungkin beliau merasakan ada baiknya untuk melihat kembali di dalam kabinet pakaian beliau dan pastikan hanya pakaian yang menepati TOP sahaja yang beliau kekalkan. Adalah baik juga jika beliau masukkan koleksi pakaian baru agar lebih ceria dan bersemangat.
Patik rasa mesti ada di dalam kabinet lama beliau tersebut, pakaian yang agak sentimental dan ‘lama berjasa’ yang kini boleh dijadikan pakaian teras untuk disesuaikan untuk apa jua tujuan. Pakaian begini selalunya perlulah dari warna yang versatile, kontemporari dan selesa untuk selalu dipakai. Syukurlah beliau mempunyai sepersalinan pakaian yang sebegitu.
Adalah perlu juga di dalam kabinet pakaian beliau koleksi pakaian yang boleh di ‘mix and match’ serta memiliki stail, gaya, fesyen, warna, corak dan fabrik berkualiti supaya beliau boleh sentiasa mengharapkan kepada pakaian-pakaian ini untuk menonjolkan keterampilan yang beliau harapkan di masa-masa yang diperlukan.
Patik juga nampak yang beliau ada memasukkan kembali sehelai blouse lama yang telah dikeluarkan dulu. Hebat juga. Kerana kita harus ingat bahawa fesyen memang sentiasa boleh di recycle. Manalah tau fesyen lama itu akan kembali trending.
Akhir kalam, patik ingin mengucapkan tahniah kepada beliau yang telah mengambil langkah berani untuk mendapatkan kabinet baru di saat-saat yang mencabar dan penuh dugaan ini. Semoga pakaian-pakaian yang beliau pilih untuk diletak di dalam kabinet baru ini akan dapat memberikan imej baru bagi beliau untuk berketerampilan lebih professional, berintegriti, diyakini dan beramanah di mata publik.
Jangan lupa, koleksi pakaian yang tidak diperlukan lagi janganlah terus dibuang dan tidak dihargai, manalah tahu akan diperlukan semula nanti. Atau boleh menjadi koleksi vintage yang tidak ternilai harganya dikemudian hari. Itulah cerita patik berkenaan ‘Ghobok Pakaian’
